This Privacy Policy explains how Jeremy Webb ("TeamUp", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the TeamUp mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Who the Service is for
TeamUp is a youth-sports team management tool used by coaches, team organizers, parents/guardians, and players aged 13 and older. Account holders must be at least 13 years old; users aged 13–17 should use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. The Service is not intended for, and does not permit account creation by, children under 13. Information about players — some of whom may be under 13 — is entered into the Service by the adults (coaches, parents, or guardians) responsible for them, not by the children themselves.
2. Information we collect
- Account & profile: name, email address, role (coach/player/parent), avatar, and authentication identifiers. We support sign-in with email/password and with Apple and Google.
- Team & roster data: teams, organizations, schedules/events, RSVPs, polls, announcements, chat messages, and documents you create or upload.
- Player information (may concern minors): name, jersey number, position, and — where provided by a coach, parent, or guardian — contact email/phone, parent/guardian names and contact details, emergency contacts, and medical notes.
- Payments: subscription purchases are processed by Apple (and/or Google) and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and entitlements; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
- Usage & device data: app interactions, log/diagnostic data, device type and OS version, and similar technical information used to operate and secure the Service.
3. Children's privacy
The Service is a general-audience product intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or provide information directly to us. Where a player is under 13, their information is provided and managed by a responsible adult (a coach, parent, or guardian), who represents that they have the authority and any required parental consent to share it. For teen users aged 13–17, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in and consent to their use of the Service.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child's information has been provided without proper authority, contact us at support@teamupapp.io and we will review and, where appropriate, delete it. We handle minors' contact, emergency, and medical information as sensitive and restrict access to a player's own account, their team's coaches, and confirmed parents/guardians.
4. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (accounts, teams, rosters, scheduling, messaging, payments).
- Authenticate users and secure the Service against fraud and abuse.
- Process subscriptions and manage entitlements.

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. How we share information
- Within your team: content you add is visible to the relevant members of your team/organization according to your role and the app's permissions.
- Service providers: Supabase (database, authentication, and storage hosting), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple/Google (authentication and payment processing). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
- Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion as described below.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport, restricted access to sensitive player data through authorized server-side functions, and storage of authentication tokens in the device keychain. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account and associated data, contact support@teamupapp.io. You can also manage subscriptions in your Apple/Google account settings.
9. International users
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by additional notice in the app.
